VoltSafe is one of only ten startups selected out of the many Canadian cleantech companies and will benefit from on-the-ground intelligence, advice, mentoring, and make strategic connections to help develop the company’s market traction and growth in Southern California.
VoltSafe Inc. has announced that it has been selected to participate in the fourth edition of the SoCal Cleantech Express (SCCTE) initiative. VoltSafe will specifically be participating in the Ports/Logistics track of this high-intensity program of the Canadian Trade Commissioner Service (TCS). VoltSafe’s appointment into the SoCal Cleantech Express initiative was made by the Senior Trade Commissioner (STC) at the Consulate General of Canada in Los Angeles.
“The urgency for more sustainable energy resources and management to reduce our carbon footprint for a cleaner future has never been higher. VoltSafe’s novel technology brings a positive environmental impact with established market traction to the SoCal Cleantech Express initiative. As our world rapidly moves towards the “electrification of everything” in all sectors, this initiative is a fantastic fit for our disruptive industrial marine technology,” noted VoltSafe CEO, Trevor Burgess.
The SoCal Cleantech initiative targets high-potential, clean technology focused, Canadian Small and Medium Enterprise (SMEs) in an effort to accelerate company growth. Over the coming months, and with the help of program partners Braid Theory and US Green Building Council Los Angeles, VoltSafe will join this year’s diverse cohort in breaking new ground in the Ports and Logistics ecosystem helping California meet its sustainability goals and move towards a cleaner future.
VoltSafe is one of only ten startups selected out of the many Canadian cleantech companies and will benefit from on-the-ground intelligence, advice, mentoring, and make strategic connections to help develop the company’s market traction and growth in Southern California.
Up next, VoltSafe will undergo individual on-boarding meetings, developing the scope of the entire program, which will extend until March 2024. The program will include a combination of online collaboration as well as in-person activities in Southern California.
