Ankor launches YachtNoter: the first mate for brokers at yacht shows

In the first 48 hours post-launch, over 227 brokers have downloaded and used YachtNoter at the Cannes Yachting Festival.

Ankor Software has this week released a world first in yachting – a mobile app called YachtNoter which has been built solely to help yacht brokers take notes on the yachts they visit at shows. Elliot Cousins, Ankor’s Founder said, “Our customers know we solve problems for them and set us a challenge to create an easy-to-use app.”

YachtNoter is the first mate for brokers at yacht shows. It’s powered by Ankor’s database of 5,000 yachts and allows users to do voice-to-text, video, and take photos of any yachts they visit. In addition, yachts can be shared with colleagues and turned into pdfs for collaboration across teams.

Erin Pavane, Ankor’s Chief Revenue Officer said, “After navigating through more than 15 yacht shows across the world, it became obvious to me how difficult it was for brokers to keep organized notes and photos of all the yachts they were seeing. What started off as an idea I shared with our CEO over an afternoon coffee has now become a reality."

In the first 48 hours post-launch, over 227 brokers have downloaded and used YachtNoter at the Cannes Yachting Festival. The teams' favourite story on Day 1 of the launch is a sales broker that took detailed notes on 3 yachts her buyer was interested in. She was able to send notes via pdf instantly to her buyer with photos and detailed notes. The buyer is flying into Cannes tomorrow to view and purchase thanks to the close to real-time feedback from the sales broker.

With the launch of Yacht Showcase, Design Studio and now YachtNoter, Ankor Software has now grown its customer base by 22% in just the past 4 weeks.
